Our Story

We are a couple of city folk who wanted to get back to the land. We moved to West Virginia and bought our farm, not knowing what we’d do with it. We have grown a beautiful homestead for our family, where we grow flowers and raise chickens, honeybees, and our two boys. We are passionate about the environment, and grow all our flowers without chemicals or pesticides.

First year they sleep, second year they creep, third year they leap. This peony patch is in its second year so we won’t really be cutting on it yet…but a couple peonies might find their way into our Mom Bouquets, who can say.

These Dr. Seuss-looking guys will be with us at the Morgantown farmers market today, downtown form 8:30-noon. They are Purple Sensation allium, and I think they smell like grapes. Come check them out!
